 حجة الوداع میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں ایک عورت اپنے بچہ کو لے کر حاضر ہوئی اور عرض کیا کہ یہ بولتا نہیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے پانی منگوایا۔ہاتھ دھویا،کلی کی اور فرمایا کہ یہ پانی اس کو پلا دو اور کچھ اس کے اوپر چھڑک دو۔کچھ عرصہ بعد وہ عورت آئی تو بیان کیا کہ لڑکا بالکل اچھا ہو گیا اور بولنے لگا ہے۔(سنن ابن ماجہ)

hajjah alwidaa main op sali allah aleeh waalah wasalam kee khedmat main aik aurat apne bacha ko lay kor hazar hoie aur araz kia kah yah bolta naheen op sali allah aleeh waalah wasalam né pani mangwaya dhuyaajkali kee aur farmaya kah yah pani s ko pella du aur kachh s ke oper chharak dunkchah arsah baad wah aurat aaye tho bian kia kah larka balkal achha ho gaya aur bolne laga he(sanan bon majah)

English

 In the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), a woman came with her child and said that he does not speak. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ordered water. He washed his hands and said, "Give him this water and sprinkle something on him." After some time, the woman came and told that the boy has become very good and has started speaking. (Sunan Ibn Majah)
