ایک دن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ایک انصاری کے باغ میں گئے۔ وہاں ایک اونٹ چلا رہا تھا۔آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو دیکھ کر وہ بلبلا نے لگا اور اس کی دونوں آنکھوں میں آنسو آگئے۔آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے قریب جا کر اس کے سر پر ہاتھ پھیرا تو وہ چپ ہو گیا۔آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے دریافت فرمایا کہ یہ کس کا اونٹ ہے․․․․؟لوگوں نے ایک انصاری کا نام بتایا۔وہ بلوائے گئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا تم ان جانوروں پر جن کو اللہ نے تمہارا محکوم بنایا ہے رحم کیا کرو۔ اس اونٹ نے مجھ سے شکایت کی ہے کہ تم اس کو بھوکا رکھتے ہو اور اس کو تکلیف دیتے ہو۔(ابو داؤد)

English
One day the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went to an Ansari's garden. There was a camel driving. Seeing the Holy Prophet sa, he started to bubble and tears came in both his eyes. When the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) approached and put his hand on his head, he fell silent. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked, "Whose camel is this?" When they were called, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Have mercy on the animals that Allah has subjected to you." This camel has complained to me that you keep him hungry and hurt him. (Abu Dawud)
